El Caballero Country Club Kitchen & Clubhouse Renovation

This project consisted of a renovation of an existing clubhouse facility at a private golf and country club involving the replacement and expansion of the main kitchen, dining hall and employees’ wing along with the enlargement of the members’ snack bar. Large steel and glazed walls, framing the views of the golf course and distant mountain backdrop, were situated to emphasize a desired relationship between the interior and the natural landscape outside. HHFA was also responsible for the upgrade of the electrical system for the country club, including the golf course and clubhouse. The upgrade was necessitated by the addition of a new 5,000 s.f. commercial kitchen and additional lighting for the 350 acre facility.
